Amidst the rural wilds of West Wales lies the historic estate of Waunifor. Nestling in a peaceful nook of the Teifi Valley, the Waunifor grounds contain six charming cottages, the old mansion house and a variety of gardens and natural habitats for the abundant wildlife. The secluded grounds and comfortable cottage accommodation make Waunifor a lovely venue for a holiday. With rolling green hills and wooded valleys all around us, and the beautiful beaches of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire within easy reach, Waunifor is a great getaway destination, whether you want to just relax and unwind, enjoy a traditional family holiday or pursue a range of activities like walking, fishing or bird-watching. The river Teifi is a few minutes away, with scenic walks and places to fish, cycle, paint or just relax in the clean and peaceful atmosphere.

We have six cottages that sleep 2, 4, 6, 6, 8 and 10 people respectively, they can be booked individually or in combination for larger parties (the total beds onsite is 36, plus cots). The cottages have all been refurbished to a high standard of comfort and facility but still retain many charming, original features. They are all centrally heated throughout and have showers and fitted, fully equipped kitchens. The cottages are all thoroughly inspected by the Wales Tourist Board each year and have been awarded three and four stars.

Waunifor Holiday Cottages are set in five acres of picturesque grounds. There is a warm, sunny Victorian walled garden, with plantings of medicinal herbs and Welsh oak benches set in nooks amongst the flowers, from which to enjoy the tranquillity. There is a pond and stream, woodland area and an abundance of colourful flowers and lush foliage, providing habitats for numerous species of flora and fauna. Visitors have access to a paddock, with a large open grassy space, ideal for ball games, a children’s play area with sandpit and swing, and individual gardens, with tables, outside each cottage.
