Affordable luxury for a stay in the Cotswolds

A very new property. Well laid out with plenty of room and a friendly host. A comfortable bed gave many nights good sleep after long days driving around the cotswolds and the cathedral cities of Gloucester and Hereford. Even Wales was reachable. There is plenty of local history here. Cirencester and Bath are not far away. Minchinhampton is a pearl with the town center only a short walk away. You can't miss the common but please try and miss the cattle and horses, at least when driving! A wonder to behold!

Difficult to fault? No, Impossible.

We wanted a place to spend a five-day break in the Cotswolds. We were looking for somewhere that was comfortable, well-equipped, stylishly decorated and warm. We also wanted somewhere with sufficient ‘walking from the door’ and close to other attractions should we decide to drive. We found it here. I think that the cottage had been functioning as a rental for only a few months and the standard of decoration and equipment reflected this. There was everything you could need. We were very lucky with the weather – lots of sun – but Wildair Cottage would also have been ideal if the weather hadn’t been so good as we could have walked, got wet and cold, but returned to the cottage to hot showers (lots of hot water, thick towels, effective heating). The kitchen is ideal for two, but there’s enough crockery, glasses etc to entertain should you wish. The owner welcomed us on arrival, showed us what we needed to know and so on and then left us to it. The cottage is attached to his house, so he was around if we needed him, but we didn’t. I have no hesitation in recommending Wildair Cottage as long as you don’t book it when we want to return.

Wonderful, restful vacation

The cottage was wonderful and the owners were very helpful and pleasant. The facilities in the property were excellent home from home, the location was delightful, peaceful and quiet and in a good location for touring and visiting other nearby towns. The welcome pack was an excellent extra.

Best 1 bed cottage accomodation we have ever stayed in

This cottage offers every thing you could wish for including your own parking area, small private garden and first class accommodation. The interior is virtually new and has been done up to a high standard. The kitchen is fully equipped, the lounge area has a dining table with 4 chairs, 2 comfortable sofas, a large Freeview TV, DVD and CD player and Wi-Fi. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed with plenty of wardrobe space with lots of hangers and leads into a lovely en-suite bathroom fitted with a large shower cubicle which gives a very powerful and hot shower but is easily controllable. The towels and bed linen are of a good quality and very clean. The heating in each room is by wall mounted radiators fitted with thermostatic valves so it's easy to get the right temperature to suit yourself. The owners Brendan and Kay are very friendly and helpful and leave you to your own devices once they have shown you around. To sum up, this is an excellent accommodation with everything you could need provided for. The finish and fittings are all of a high, clean standard and we don't think you would be disappointed staying here.
