Fantastic in one word, Really couldn't ask for more. Maggie and Dave the new owners, just could not do enough for us to make our stay great. They have done so much with the property to improve it and it really did show. They were there to greet us and that made it more personal. The accommodation was well equipped and the beds were so very comfortable. Fantastic place if you are like me, disabled. We all loved it so much that we are really going to try and go back again next year. There was so much to do,great for crabbing and swimming. Down the path and onto the jetty and when the tide was out you could walk from the jetty to the harbor. So all in all the best holiday we have had in years. Thank you to Maggie and Dave.
This is a fantastic house in a stunning location.Maggie & Dave gave us a wonderful welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We were a bit concerned about Paul being able to get around the house with his electric wheelchair ,but we need not have worried the whole of the property was totally accessible. We all instantly felt at home ,the sitting rooms and bedrooms were all very tastefully decorated and very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped to cook for eight people and the dining room was excellent.Every evening we sat in the conservatory to watch the sun go down and the tides come and go.The children declared that "this is a proper holiday, the best holiday ever"The access down to the jetty from the garden was an extra treat, with many an hour spent catching crabs, and inspecting the rock pools.A wonderful place , we hope to return next year.Thank you Maggie & Dave for going the extra mile.
I'd like to say it was terrible, then no one would book and there would be more availability for us - but I can't! It's a lovely place in a fabulous location. Maggie and Dave were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The village has local shops and there are plenty of walks along the coast and river. We have already booked to bring extended family back early next year. The place is very dog friendly and our dogs loved it. I'd like to be constructive and give some bad points, but I can't think of anything bad about angorfa.
It was a large property, had all the ammenities you needed (tumble dryer was out of order but not end of world)...we went Feb so was cold and cottage was definetly cold on first day / night..but soo warmed up...to be expected on such a large property. Owner lives adjoining she was very nice @ helpfull, local village had all you would need..fish and chip shop, small village store, pub etc. would i go again...Yes...for the price it was well worth it..!!! Only down fall..was and this is no reflection on the owner ...could not book in untill 4pm..after a long drive some of the group had to hang around!!
Lovely that we could contact the owners at any time. Nothing was too much trouble. Very welcoming. Although cold at first they had turned the heating on for our arrival and once warmed up it was lovely the electric blankets were a god send in the cold weather suggested written introductions for "old folk" as my dad hadn't remembered how to work the blanket lovely touch to have a bottle of wine and welcome card also found out that can arrange Tesco delivery if required or will shop for us if asked for anything in particular thank you for a lovely place welcoming and spectacular.
We had a wonderful holiday at angorfa. The owners Maggie and Dave were so friendly and helpful and it didn't feel at all intrusive having them upstairs. The house has everything you need, a real home from home, and the games and toys were a nice touch. It was lovely to sit out in the evening looking out onto the bay. It is extremely dog friendly - they were able to wander outside, around the garden, in complete safety and it was such easy access down to the beach. The water in Camaes Bay is crystal clear - just wish it had been warmer and I might have dared to venture in for a swim. Can't wait to go back again!
