Week in a Cosy Shed

Nice location in a wooden housing estate amongst the trees. Good value and nice facilities but they were a bit of a walk to get to them. Enjoyed exploring the area.

Amazing holiday

23 Kenwick Woods was an amazing, spacious and beautiful property in a peaceful and lovely location. We all enjoyed this holiday and not one thing was a let down. It's the perfect getaway. The swimming pool was lovely and the staff at the leisure centre were very friendly and helpful. The site itself was very peaceful and was as lovely as it looked in the brochure. The only problem we had was finding the park!

Wonderful, relaxing and very cmfortable stay

We really could not fault anything at all regarding our stay apart from the directions to find the cabin. The best, short break we have ever had . Thank you very much.

well appointed spacious accomodation

The property was outstanding. Lots of space for our 3 young children great setting and the leisure facilities were excellent. The area around Louth and Lincolnshire generally did not offer sufficient interest to keep our children entertained

Excellent place to stay, would definitely go back

My husband and I stayed in number 23 for 6 nights in September 2012 to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We wanted a week of relaxation and peace and quiet and honestly could not have been happier with what Kenwick Woods offered. The cabin itself is luxury. There are 3 bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin) and 2 bathrooms. The living area was perfect for the two of us to lounge around watching Dvd's (don't bring blu-rays unless you bring your own blu-ray player) although I am not sure how well it would sit 6 people comfortably... The heating in the cabin is electric heating and they get to work very fast although we found that we didn't need it much because the cabin was cosy enough on its own. The kitchen has everything you need. The fridge is fine but the freezer is only a small compartment within the fridge. There is an oven and microwave, plus kettle. From the cabin it is about a 1 mile walk to the main hotel reception and health centre, which offers a pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and beauty treatments. There is also golf available (a cheaper round of £20 is available for guests of the cabin's after 2pm) and the golf course is great. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food there but I can recommend "Marrakech" restaurant in Louth (less than ten minutes by car, in a cab approx £7). I can imagine that if you took children with you they could get easily bored. The only thing I thing the cabin could do with is possibly a hot tub; the cabin next door had one and we were very jealous! Overall, a lovely place to stay, I definitely recommend it if what you are after is peace, quiet and relaxation.
