Smallpet friendly country base for touring locale

Secluded cottage five minutes drive from Kinvarra. Ample parking to rear for two cars. Tiled floor a bit cool - bring slippers. Brilliant gas fire in living area - you can regulate how much you want. Tv small and limited for choice. Kinvarra is charming and caters for all your needs other than a large supermarket. Very pleasant pharmacist. If you want to go sea fishing try and book in advance as it seemed to be the luck of the draw on the day. If you visit Galway, park up near Shop St and do it on foot. The land lady was very helpful, located nearby. Dogs allowed.

A wonderful traditional Irish cottage

we were very pleased with Mickey's cottage : quiet, clean with all amenities we needed. The central heat was great as was the washing machine...with a clothes line outside. The owner was very attentive and friendly. The location is perfect for day trips. Loved Jordon's pub a mile or so away in Ballinderreen. we would recommend this and hope to return again.

Quiet country cottage, somewhere to relax and recharge.

Easy driving distance to Galway, Clare and the west coast. This lovely homely cottage was everything we needed for a quiet retreat. It was our base for setting off to several locations site seeing. There is no internet / wifi in the cottage and the TV has saorview channels but also a working DVD player and CD/radio so bring along your favourite discs / Box sets. We had 2 dogs with us who thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of the enclosed front garden. The cottage is very well kept and in excellent condition. There are 2 forms of heating for when the sun goes down and the evenings are cooler. The beds were comfortable with ample bedding provided. The kitchen is small but well equipped although I do not like solid plate cookers such as the one currently in the cottage. The owner was very friendly and easy to contact.
