This chapel has been restored with a lot of hardwork and love and with a outstanding finish, We loved the area, lots to do near by, monkey world, longleat, durdle door, Poole and Bath. Oweners lovely people chaple very clear a real home from home, only slight moan was the sofa bed
We really enjoyed are stay in what is a lovely and very unusual rental property
We really had a great time. The property looks modest from the outside but the attention to detail inside was exceptional. The owners did their utmost to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and stress-free. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone who wants a get away holiday. We were also prepared to travel further afield to the Dorset coast, Stonehenge and the Fleet air arm Museum. Good food in local pubs.
We spent a week in this delightfully Chapel conversion, which is in a good area for visiting many interesting places.
The property was lovely. Welcoming scones and jam were a real treat. The TV could do with updating, but a minor point. The bedroom has twin beds and the bathroom is downstairs, something to bear in mind if it will bother you! Overall a very pleasant stay in a novel property.
Exactly as the photos show on Sykes website, it is a spacious, well furnished cottage for two. Less than a year since it was completely rebuilt, it forms a good base for walkers, visits to one of the best landscape gardens in England and close to Shaftesbury and Salisbury. Owners very friendly, live across road and take pride in their unique property. Highly recommended for a quiet week.
