First Class Accommodation

We were the first guests to stay in this beautiful holiday let and were very impressed with all the facilities and amenities provided. No expense has been spared in furnishing the lodge - the bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped and the lounge had ample seating. For anyone with mobility issues, Little Hendre Lodge is the ideal choice, as it is all on one level, with wide entrances to all rooms. An additional bonus of our stay was the option to partake of Valerie's delicious home-cooked breakfasts every morning, although the self-catering option is there, if guests prefer. All in all, the lodge is set in a wonderful, peaceful location, and we would have no hesitation in returning ourselves and recommending it to our friends and family. Many thanks.

Our 40th Anniversary weekend

We both have physical mobility problems, so Little Hendre Lodge was the ideal place for us. Easy access with a ramp for a wheelchair from the car parking area right outside the door. There is wide door access through all rooms. A Jack and Jill en suite walk in shower room. Open plan lounge, dining and Kitchen area with all the needed utensils along with washing machine and Dish Washer. Double door exit with ramp leading to a contained patio and lawn area. We were enthusiastically and friendly met by Val the owner. She showed us around and explained everything we needed to know and any problems or advice we were told to not be afraid to contact her. She even offered to change the quilt on the bed to a lower tog rating if the one already on the bed was too warm for us. Little Hendre Lodge is about 3 miles from the town of Monmouth and way out in the countryside. If you like peace and tranquility this is the place to be. It is a single lane road but very quiet. We enjoyed every minute of our weekend break. Our only regret was that we didn't book the few extra days to get the full benefit of Little Hendre Lodge and the surrounding area. As there was so many more places we wanted to visit but didn't have the time
