Most Relaxing place we have been too

This was the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. Everything you could want was in the cottage, we wanted for nothing. The hosts were friendly and were always around but never in the way.Well presented cottage and lovely and clean.Fantastice scenery and so quiet.

Really comfortable property

Our stay here was excellent. The property was a conversion that had being really well thought out and furnished. It was extremely comfortable with several unexpected extras.

Deep in the country!

Miller's Lodge was an ideal holiday cottage. The local rail link, with station halt nearby, was a great bonus as was the superb restaurant/hotel, the Well House, situated aout a mile away and easily accessible on foot. The cottage itself contained everything and we could not have asked for more, even the weather was perfect! The "Marvellous Music Machines" exhibition within the grounds also proved to be very interesting and the owner was very knowledgeable about his collection. All in all: excellent!

Brilliant Holiday

We could not have asked for more on this holiday, the cottage was warm cosy and comfortable and very secluded. Everything was provided for us. Even though we experienced all sorts of weather conditions, snow, rain, hail and sunshine we had a lovely time. The owners who lived next door we very helpful and the wine, tea, coffee and biscuits were very much appreciated.

Cosy country cottage

My wife and I stayed at Miller's Lodge for a week in late March 2012. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the cottage is well furnished / equipped, comfortable and clean. The location is peaceful and good as a centre for exploring East Cornwall but is very remote with no shops / restaurants within walking distance. Also bear in mind that there's no wi-fi or mobile reception, being disconnected for a week helped with the relaxation and the odd trip to Liskeard to get an iPad / iPhone fix wasn't too much of a chore. Overall we'd highly recommend the cottage as a base for a relaxing break.
