Absolutely gorgeous

Stayed here with my husband, 10 year old daughter and our dog and we absolutely loved it. The accommodation is absolutely gorgeous and the owners have thought of everything! The village itself is beautiful but we didn't venture out nearly as much as we should as we didn't want to leave the Chapel! Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone

Amazing house and amazing area

This house is beautiful. It has been tastefully renovated and is so comfortable, I would happily live there. The surrounding area is beautiful with lovey walks, although bear in mind that there is some hill walking! The Inn, which is literally a minutes walk away is brilliant. All in all a brilliant time was had, so thank you.

Gorgeous conversion, local area and Village

We were wowed by the standard of the Chapel and couldn't believe such a beautifully kept cottage with gorgeous furnishings was dog friendly. Would highly recommend. Loved the d├ęcor; the amount of provisions like cutlery, coffee machine etc; and how well converted the chapel had been done. The history and closeness to the walks and Village pub was brilliant too. The Chapel has been lovingly converted and had us romanticising about living there. We stayed as a couple but wish we had taken friends to share the experience with us. The home is on the path of a lovely 4.5 mile walk along the river Wye and through Penallt Village. It is also around 1 minute away from the local pub The Inn at Penallt which was really welcoming and served an amazing pork belly main. It was the perfect retreat - no phone or wifi signal during the break, which was perfect for us, but perhaps not for others relying on a signal. we took our very small min pin dog with us, who also had a great time! Our only small disappointment was with not being able to adjust the heating ourselves, or have any extra blankets available. Generally the Chapel is really nice and cosy with the log burner and under floor heating, however when this didn't 'kick in' it was a little chilly.
