The Hen House sleeps just two in a converted stable with a romantic bedroom and luxurious bathroom and a large open plan living area. This cottage is extremely well-equipped to make your stay as pleasant as possible and many little extras are provided.

The cottage is set opposite our Jacobean farmhouse behind the herb garden and wisteria pergola providing a good degree of privacy. There are nearly nine acres of gardens, woodland and meadow to enjoy and your (well-behaved) dogs are very welcome.

A welcome breakfast hamper is provided and an evening meal can be awaiting your arrival by prior arrangement. We have a lovely local aromatherapist who can be booked to help you really relax and manicures/pedicures are also easily arranged.

The area is little-known but very beautiful with picturesque scenery, black and white villages, castles, stately homes and gardens to visit, as well as fabulous food producers supplying some of the country's best restaurants. We provide guides for lovers of art, antiques, gardens, food, wine and cider etc to make sure you get the best out of your stay.

Local Ludlow is well-known as an attractive market town with a reputation for good food and the influence floods through the surrounding area with many many great places to eat. We can make bookings for you and arrange taxis if necessary.

If you would like to invite friends to join you for a couple of days, we can offer bed and breakfast at Brook Farm.
