The Retreat is a lovely home situated in an exclusive area of Hill Head just off the coastal road, overlooking Titchfield Haven Nature Reserve. 

The Beach is just 2 minutes walk from the property at the end of the road, and two adult bicycles are provided to explore the area on which are included in the rental price - ideal for either cycling along the beach or for taking down to the popular Osborne View gastro pub - which offers its customers surround sea views and a pub garden leading straight onto the beach.....advisable to book!

The property has a large Garden just over 1/2 an acre in size which has its very own lake! Guests have the use of a gas BBQ and a number of sun loungers to enjoy in the summer. 

Children can safely play in an enclosed decking area which runs the whole length of the house, accessed by french doors leading out from the living room.

Leading off from the master bedroom upstairs is a balcony and along with the outdoor decking area, provides uninterrupted views of the nature reserve and beautiful lake.

The property has the benefit of a large Garage and driveway providing parking for up to 4 cars and boat & trailer if required.

The house features two double bedrooms (one double, one twin), double sofa bed, travel cot if required, two bathrooms with bath and power shower (ensuite to twin bedroom), a downstairs cloakroom,  modern fitted kitchen with all appliances provided, utility room, dining room, and living room with 2 sofas.  TV & Video players are provided in both bedrooms including the living room along with a DVD player and music system.

All bedding, linen, bathroom and beach towels are provided for your stay, with beds made up ready for your arrival.

Optional extras are Wireless Broadband at £15 per week, and subject to availability a Child Minding service by security checked professionals can be provided in the evenings and weekends from £5 per hour.

The property is very special as guests enjoy uninterrupted views of a beautiful lake which is located in the garden.* You can sit and enjoy the sights from either the double bedroom, or the living room.

Hill Head Beach is situated at the end of the road The Retreat is located in, which is popular for all watersports, especially kite surfing, wind surfing, sailing and of course sun bathing!

There are beautiful coastal walks in the area, with Titchfield Haven and its small natural harbour attracting sailors, bird watchers and walkers alike.

Please Notes

* Due to the lake in the grounds, guests are advised not to let their chidlren into the garden without supervision. The garden is approx 1/2 acre in size and is shared with next door.  The large decking area has ample space also for children to play in and is fully enclosed.
