Twee Gebroeders was fully restored in 2010. She has a gorgeous interior which sleeps 4 and full use of many outside facilities which are available at the Waveney River centre where she is moored. She is a Dutch sailing barge and has her full sailing rig but is only available as a static holiday let. Features include:- Saloon Galley kitchen featuring gorgeous red range cooker Cosy twin cabin Luxury shower room Romantic double cabin Outside cockpit with seating and dining table Use of family adventure canoe Use of heated indoor swimming pool Saloon and Galley area This is a light and airy room with white tongue and groove walls, curtains made from fine country linens and solid iroko joinery throughout. Taking pride of place is the gorgeous red aga style range cooker which provides the heating and cooking on the barge. The galley has solid iroko cabinets with a granite worktop and a built in fridge. The saloon has upholstered built in seating and a dining table, tv, dvd, hi-fi and cd player. There are doors to the outside cockpit. Twin Cabin This is a cosy room with 2 single beds, 2'6 wide but standard length. The cabin has white walls and iroko woodwork throughout and a nautical theme running through the soft furnishings. There is a chest of drawers and a tv and playstation. This makes an ideal room for children. Luxury shower room Decorated in handmade dutch delft tiles this room features a corner shower, basin, shaver point and mist free mirror with lights. The loo is a domestic style with electric flush. Double Cabin This romantic room is situated in the front of the boat and has portholes all round. It is light and airy in white tongue and groove and has a good range of iroko cabinets including a wardrobe and dressing table with stool. The curtains are all handmade in country fabrics and the bed is made with fine cotton linen

The room has a tv with built in dvd player. Adventure Canoe The barge comes with its own canoe for your use and makes a lovely way to see the river. Indoor heatesd swimming pool Full use of the Waveney River Centre pool is included in the cost of your holiday If you have ever fancied your own "Swallows and Amazons" adventure or simply just fancy getting away from it all then Twee Gebroeders makes an ideal base for a relaxing or family holiday. You can do as much or as little as you like. Day boats can be hired from the Waveney River centre for exploring the Broads further. Canoe into Beccles or head north up to Somerleyton and visit the great house with its fantastic maze. The Waveney River Centre is very family friendly, the pool is open from April to October and can be used as often as you like during your stay. There is also a sauna and childrens playground. Bicycles can be hired and there are some good circular routes to explore the quiet lanes around Burgh St Peter. For rainy days the barge is well equiped with dvd's, cd's and playstation games for the technically minded and board games for the more traditional. There are also fishing rods, binoculars, pond dipping nets and other nature activity equipment on board. We have tried to create a sence of luxury aboard a very old vessel. All the systems on board are modern and she has full central heating with radiators in every room. However we have also tried to keep her sence of tradition. She is very traditional looking inside, light and bright but with solid woodwork everywhere. All the curtains are handmade using country style fabrics, all the linens are quality cotton and the towels are all thick and fluffy. All heating and electricity is included.

Suffolk

Our selection of Suffolk cottages is second to none. Suffolk is a breath taking and beautiful region in the south east corner of England and is an ideal location for a self catering holiday.
