Stanegate Cottage provides quality accommodation for 2-4 people throughout the year, with the extensive use of natural wood together with carefully coordinated furnishings creating a homely atmosphere. The living room is very well equipped with Sky Freeview TV, DVD and radio/CD player and a variety of and DVDs to play. The thermostatically controlled central heating keeps the cottage cosy on cold days, but you can supplement the heating by lighting the woodburning stove - we provide a plentiful supply of logs. From the French window look out over the local Golf course at glorious views of Hadrian's Wall country towards the Scottish borders, especially when the weather is sunny. The kitchen area is fitted with a gas cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. Great care has been taken to ensure that whether you are preparing a simple breakfast or a special meal, you will find all the crockery and cooking utensils you may need

The spacious hallway leads to both bedrooms and the shower room, which has a large shower cubicle, WC, washbasin, razor point and heated towel rail. Both rooms have extensive views over the countryside. We are situated in a perfect place for making the cottage a base for visiting all sites along Hadrian's Wall, the Northumberland National Park and the beautiful Coastline, the Lake District and even the Scottish Borders. It is also great as a base for a walking or cycling holiday. All prices are inclusive of heating, electricity, linen and towels.
