Semi-detached cottage situated in a private courtyard surrounded by open countryside within half a mile of Porth beach and approximately 3 miles from Newquay town centre. Recently completely re-furbished with quality pine furnishings throughout. A stable door opens directly into the light and spacious open plan L shaped well equipped pine kitchen and dining area.
A door leads through to the inner hallway with 2 bedrooms leading off - bedroom 1 with double bed and double duvet at the front of the cottage and Bedroom 2 with two single beds and duvets at the rear of the cottage. Travel Cot available. Also off the hallway is the shower room with basin and WC.
Full cooker and ceramic hob, Fridge, Microwave , Colour T.V, Freeview, Video, DVD Player, Stereo System. Electric storage heaters.
The front aspect of the cottage has windows that overlook the courtyard and enjoy views of the surrounding hills towards the village of St Columb in the distance. At the rear of the main courtyard there is allocated communal parking as well as an area for drying washing.
PORTH
Within half a mile of the cottage is the quiet resort of Porth,with village pub and shops, where families can relax whilst children play with buckets and spades. The more energetic can surf in the green Atlantic rollers. Public footpaths pass by the cottage giving access to countryside walks to St Columb Minor and linking to the South West coastal path.
SURROUNDING AREA
The coastal route heading north towards the quaint fishing village of Padstow
(approximately 15 miles) is a spectacular drive passing Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth and Bedruthan Steps. Situated 3 miles from Cornwall's most popular resort. Major centre for surfing, Zoo, Golf Course, Trenace Leisure Park, Sea Life Aquarium, Tunnels through Time, and plentiful night life. Fistral Beach is world famous for surfing and annual championships are held there in August. The Eden Project is situated approximately 18 miles from the cottage.
