Oak Tree Cottage dates from the 16th Century recently refurbished into a delightful cottage full of character perfect for a relaxing break in the country.

There is a downstairs bathroom/toilet, washbasin and shower over bath with large heated towel rail with bathsheets and hand towels provided for each guest. Please bring your own beach/swimming towels if required. The cottage has central heating throughout. The lounge has a beamed ceiling, inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove, large comfy leather sofas and a flatscreen tv with Freeview and dvd player with dvds to watch, games to play or books to read. The kitchen has a shaker style cream kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, electric cooker and hob, microwave and toaster.

From the hallway a doorway leads down some steps to a sunny garden area with ancient hollow oak tree . The cottage faces south and overlooks the Devon/Somerset border, our farm hedge is the border.

A stairway leads to a small landing with access to 3 bedrooms.The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and original rustic oak panelling. South facing with valley views of fields and woodland. Twin room has two 3ft beds and is a larger room with preserved fireplace enjoying the same views as the master bedroom and a smaller single room with 3ft single bed overlooks the old farmyard with pond and resident ducks. Cot and highchair available.

We have a non-smoking policy throughout the cottage.
