Following on from the success of the Tour de France in 2014 and the rise in popularity in the sport over the last 12 months, they are holding their own Tour de Yorkshire.
The race is set into 3 stages starting off in Bridlington on the 1st of May and finishing in Leeds on the 3rd. So if you fancy joining on or just going to support then we do have some availability still showing in the area, have a look below.
How do you choose where to stay when there is an event going on? Well, for a lively holiday, choose a holiday cottage in a town or village on the route itself or for a more peaceful break, choose something a little further away from the villages the cyclists will pass through. As many of the local roads will be closed, you’ll also need to think about transportation to the cottage.
