There are many castles in this area to visit, one being Duart Castle which sits on a peninsular which juts out over the sound of mull, walk through the dungeons and explore the state rooms.
You will never been short of walks on the Isle of Mull. One of the best walks is to Carsaig Arches, whatever direction you travel you will be passing over some of the most impressive cliffs in Britain, this is goat and eagle countryside, so don’t forget your binoculars!
Salen is a great place to be based, for exploring the local area, Tobermory the capital being not too far away, the village has a restaurant and a few coffee shops. You can enjoy various activities in and around this area from pony treking to bird watching.
Tobermory the capital of Mull is beautiful with its colorful houses, harbour, selection of shops and restaurants, with plenty of things to do on your doorstep.
Craignure is a small village near the coast, a good tourist location as Duart Castle and the ferry port is here. The village has various shops, pubs, restaurants and is a great spot to recharge your batteries.
