Plymouth is generally thought of as the gateway to Cornwall and is considered by many to be the cultural capital of the West of England. It was from Plymouth, that adventurers such as Drake, Cook and the Pilgrim Fathers, set out on their momentous voyages to find new worlds.

Surrounded by many picturesque fishing villages, such as Newton Ferrers and Cawsand, Plymouth is also close to the rugged beauty of Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, with the beautiful sandy beaches of the English Riviera, and Whitsand Bay only a short drive away.

The City’s Theatre Royal plays host to some of the best plays and shows in England and the Plymouth Pavilions with its large auditorium which can hold thousands for the top name pop concerts, or the Symphony Orchestra. There is also a stage for the ballet, a swimming pool and an ice skating rink.

The mediaeval street layouts and Tudor dwellings are the home to many art galleries and an array of unique and individual shops, a veritable Mecca for antique collectors and art lovers alike. A short walk across the harbour lock gates takes you to the new National Marine Aquarium where you can experience a mystical underwater world and watch the divers feed the hundreds of fish.

Once you have taken in a day sightseeing, you will be delighted to return to our wonderfully comfortable Apartments. Many of our guests, who have returned year upon year, comment that it is thier second home ... a true home from home.

3(A) The Apartment comprises of a large and very elegant lounge/diner with original 1860’s marble fire place and mouldings. Furnished in a modern comfortable design there is one large spacious bedroom. The property includes a shower room with shower cubical, sink and wc, a nice kitchen and a small patio area. New carpets fitted throughout.

3(B) Holyrood Place is located on the first floor with two large twin bedrooms the Apartment is suitable for sleeping 4 persons comfortably. The property includes; a spacious and comfortable lounge with large marble fire place feature and modern furniture, a fully fitted kitchen/diner with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and Radio/CD Player, a bathroom with bath/power shower, toilet and wash basin.

3(C) Holyrood Place is spread over the top two floors of our 5 floor property with three bedrooms, one double, one single and a twin/triple, a large lounge with slate fire place and modern furniture. It is an ideal place to unwind after a day of sight-seeing. Also included in the property is a fully fitted kitchen/diner and a bathroom with bath/power shower, toilet and wash basin.

Minimum stay 4 days. No Smoking & sorry no pets. All lounges have TV and DVD/VCR (3A & 3C 27" Flat screen TV) Freeview and a selection of video tapes. Our prices include the cost of electricity, gas, towels and bedding. For a small additional charge, a limited number of secure car parking spaces are available on a first come first serve basis.
