This is possibly the most famous of the Scottish Glens and is known worldwide for the infamous Massacre of Glencoe in 1692 when the Campbells slaughtered the Macdonalds of Glencoe.
Within our grounds you can see some of the last remaining ruins of cottages from that time.
Our 3 Self-Catering Cottages are tucked away within our own 50 acres in a quiet corner of this famous Glen and stand overlooking the lovely River Coe. The natural woodland setting teams with wildlife and our 2 lochs attract an impressive array of birds all year round.
These warm comfortable cottages nestle under the towering Mountains and are very popular with families, climbers and hill walkers. Each cottage has magnificent uninterrupted views all round.
Fishing is available to our guests in our own trout loch or in the river on your doorstep. Walk through our woods to the local pub, which serves good food and Real Ale. Wander up to the iconic Signal Rock within our grounds and visit the site of the film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azakaban filmed here in 2003 and also featured in the latest film released in 2007 where you will recognise the wonderful views of Torren Lochan by the cottages
The whitewashed slate roofed cottages were built by the present owners to high environmentally friendly standards resulting in them being awarded one of the first Scottish Tourist Boards Gold Awards for Environmental Management .
