The property is equipped with everything you should need for a first class self catering holiday. There is patio furniture in the shared but private courtyard and parking for 1 car on the property.  Cove Cottage is located in one of the most scenic areas on the Northumberland coast,  walk approx 250m from the cottage you can be looking out over "Budle Bay" which forms part of the "Lindisfarne Nature Reserve" home to a wide variety of wildlife which constantly changes throughout the year. The village of Bamburgh with its dramatic castle, miles of unspoilt beaches and sand dunes is only 2 miles by road, or if you enjoy walking can be reached  on foot by public footpaths across amazing coastal countryside with stunning views. In Bamburgh you will find good quality places to eat and drink, there is also a, first class butchers selling local Northumbrian produce (be prepared to queue on a Saturday) a deli, general store selling fresh home produced vegetables, eggs, and home grown tomatoes in season.  The Farne Islands are just off the coast here and regular boat trips run from Seahouses(5 Miles) harbour in season, you will see many seals and wild birds on these trips and one of the islands is a National Trust property where you can land and pay a short visit. Check the tide tables in the cottage and plan a visit to Holy Island & Lindisfarne Castle by crossing the causeway at low tide. Berwick and the fantastic border country with many scenic tours and walks are only a short drive inland from Waren Mill. The above are just a few local places you can visit, Northumberland is awash with historic castles, houses, and stunning landscapes

There is lots of information in the cottage about the area so you will not find it difficult to fill your holiday with very happy memories of your visit. Christine & Martin, South Yorkshire, 29th March Lovely away from it all cottage in quiet surroundings, ideal peaceful break, lots of things to see and do. for the wildlife enthusiasts there are Roe deer in the surrounding fields, Badgers, barn owls flying over the fields & buzzards overhead, in the bay lots of Curlews, Redshanks & Oyster catchers.
