Discover the best kept secret in Wales - the Gower Peninsula, Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - from our converted cottages and barns on one of the seven hills of Swansea Bay overlooking the North Devon coast.

At Clyne Farm you will find something for everyone whether it is an action packed activity break or a quiet, relaxing holiday where you can enjoy the miles of golden sands and coastal and country walks.

We have seven award winning converted stone barns which sleep from 4 to 8 The Dairy, Stables Cotage and Hayloft interconnect to sleep between ten and fourteen. The former gamekeeper's cottage to the Clyne Estate - Keeper's Cottage - is now a luxury and secluded cottage in the middle of a wood. It can be interconnected to Barn Owl Lodge to form a sixteen person unit. In total we can sleep 51 plus cots so the Centre is ideal for large groups

All cottages have central heating, fully fitted kitchens, colour tvs with video and dvd players. Most have washer driers and dishwashers and there is also a central laundry room. Cottages are verified by Wales Tourist Board and are all Four Star rating apart from Byron's Barn which is Three Star.

We are surrounded by countryside yet only three miles from the bright lights of Swansea with the newly opened National Waterfront Museum and the National Pool - the only 50m swimming pool in Wales. Other attractions include the Egypt Centre at Swansea University, cinemas, art galleries and museums.

On Gower there are plenty of water based activities to keep you busy and you can enjoy the golden beaches all year round - often in autumn and winter you will have them all to yourself. The Gower Heritage Centre offers a fascinating glimpse of the area' history and culture

Not that you need to go that far for some action. Clyne Farm is the base for GreatGowerOutdoors.com and we offer a range of on-site activities including horseriding, indoor climbing, archery, problem solving and Challenge Valley - the muddiest assault course in the world!! - which has been featured on tv's The Holiday Programme, Activ8 and has been chosen as one of the squares on Swansea Monopoly.

Our off-site activities include climbing and abseiling on the Gower cliffs, gorgewalking (or canyonning), rockhopping which is our version of coasteering, quadbiking, clay pigeon shooting, paintball, surfing, windsurfing, sailing.

For week long stays we offer a free activity taster session. Also available is bike, canoe and body board hire.
