Bessie's Cottage provides characterful and comfortable accommodation for a family of 5 in a peaceful hamlet in the heart of the Suffolk countryside within easy reach of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. A network of roads and paths provide opportunities for walking and cycling.
There is a small conservatory at the entrance to Bessie's Cottage, which leads to the large and fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen, with dining table and chairs for a family of 5.
There is also a small shower room and toilet downstairs.
The cosy lounge has an inglenook fireplace and woodburner, and a door beside the fireplace opens to reveal the staircase.
Upstairs is a family bathroom with central roll-top bath. There is a stunning beamed double bedroom with a fabulous Fourposter bed, a twin-bedded room and a single bedroom.

Children with families are welcome, and we provide a travel cot, high chair and stairgate.
Duvets, linen and towels are provided. Full oil central heating, with radiators in every room.
Outside is a small enclosed garden and BBQ and a shared picnic/playing field.
The garden does have a duck pond, but this is behind a fence.

5 miles from Halesworth and close to the Suffolk Heritage Coast

Situated next to Bertie's Barn and the propeties can therefore be booked together for larger parties

Price Includes:

Electricity, oil central heating, duvets, linen, towels and teatowels. Beds made up ready for your arrival. From October to Easter there is an additional heating charge of £25 for weekly rentals, and £15 for short breaks of 2 nights or more.
